Building Local Buzz

A full-scale branding and digital experience for a family-owned apiary. This project involved crafting a playful visual identity, designing product packaging for honey and beeswax goods, and designing a seamless e-commerce experience. The result is a brand that feels as sweet and approachable as the honey itself, rooted firmly in the Treasure Valley community.

Serious Protection, Playful Design

While the parent brand was established and trusted, the new product felt buried. The goal was to carve out a distinct visual identity that signaled a specialized service while maintaining a link to the primary brand. I stripped the parent brand’s color system down to a punchy, three-color palette. The logo and color choices were selected to evoke optimism and playfulness—shifting the conversation from “medical bills” to “peace of mind and play.”

A vibrant series of visual identities designed to drive engagement for seasonal zoo events. From educational weekend programs to high-energy evening fundraisers, the branding utilized bold typography and custom illustrations to bridge the gap between conservation and fun. Each event identity was designed to scale across environmental signage, digital social campaigns, and limited-edition merchandise.

The Daily Grind

Strategic branding projects focused on creating high-quality “store-within-a-store” identities for convenience store food and coffee courts. By balancing quick-service efficiency with a premium, artisan aesthetic, I developed custom, cohesive visual systems that helps these sub-brands stand out in high-traffic environments. The scope included logo suites, menu board systems, and point-of-sale packaging.
